Altra Federal Credit Union- Summer Cash Camp for Kids In-Person
This is a free financial education workshop series for children sponsored by Altra Federal Credit Union. All camps are from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and topics and age groups vary each day. Registration for this event is required.
Tuesday, June 25th- Dollars & Cents Camp for Ages 7-8. Topics include: Coins & Dollar Bills, What is Money and How is it Made?, What is Money Worth? Save, Spend and Share Concept and Smart money choices.
Wednesday, June 26th- Super Savers Camp for Ages 9-10. Topics include: Careers at a credit union, Credit union difference, Budgeting & wants vs. needs and Money & Counterfeit Money.
Thursday, June 27th- Money Smart Camp for Ages 11-12. Topics include: Creating smart goals & spending plans, Budgeting, Basic Credit concepts and Preparing for the Real World.
